for optimal natural health
The optimal way to improve fitness and long-term health is to unlock your in-built native fitness through simple lifestyle changes based on balanced organic nutrition and functional exercise.
what is native fitness?
Native fitness refers to the in-built fitness capabilities we are born with. Most of us lose a lot of our natural fitness because we don't give our body the nutrients and exercise it needs and this leads to a steady decline in our general health as we get older. Improving your native fitness will significantly improve your general health across all measures and reduce risk factors for many serious health conditions.
how I can help you
I offer personal fitness coaching, enabling people to unlock their native fitness through improved nutrition, functional exercise, lifestyle changes and better mindset. Together we assess your needs and develop a tailored approach, helping you make simple lifestyle changes that will systematically improve your fitness and health. Everyone is different and you will have your own personal targets and your own unique set of obstacles to navigate. Whatever your situation, we can find the changes needed to unlock your native fitness.
unlearn what you know
There's a lot of misinformation out there about diets and fitness. It's time to unlearn what you think you know, recalibrate your mindset and focus on trusted sources of professional guidance based on the established principles of human biology and physiology.
it works for everyone
Regardless of your age or how fit you are now there will be improvements you can make. This is about nurturing and optimising your natural capabilities and building a foundation for good health. There is scope for everyone to improve whether you are an elite athletes or a couch potato!
Never underestimate nature. We have become conditioned to think that natural options are conservative and don't yield the best results, but this is not true. Extreme fitness programmes can produce very specific results but this will usually compromise other aspects of performance or health. This is why elite sports coaches are turning more and more towards more natural approaches to build optimal athletic foundation. You can improve your fitness and functional capability significantly and reduce health risk factors for major conditions by up to 40% which is incredible. In terms of weight loss, the results will depend on your starting position but your rate of loss will be optimal and you can lose as much as 2 to 4 stone in 6 months.
We learned a lot about the importance of good general health when the Covid-19 pandemic unfolded. Improving fitness will also improve your general health and this helps you build protection against many of the most serious health conditions and can also reverse the severity of existing conditions. Obesity alone carries its own risks and is also considered a major contributor to some of the other high risk conditions. A healthy nutritional profile and effective exercise can help improve your heart health and cardiovascular fitness as well as promoting a healthy immune system. These factors play a major part in boosting your resilience against the impact of infectious diseases such as Covid-19.
live better for longer
Be healthier and fitter for life - not just the next 6 months. Unlocking your native fitness will help you feel rejuvenated, more mobile and generally healthier for the long term. You will become more resilient to major health conditions and you will extend your life expectancy.
find your natural body weight
Native fitness will help you shift towards your natural healthy body weight and composition. This doesn't mean living like a health freak - it's just a case of enabling your body to find it's optimal natural state by improving your nutrient intake and the changing the way you move your body.
optimal organic weight loss
Lose weight at the optimal rate in the safest and most healthy way. Organic weight loss focusses on simple life-style changes and organic balanced nutrition to promote optimal weight loss that is sustainable and permanent. There is no better or more effective way to lose weight. The rate of loss will be aligned with your current physiology and is different for each person but it will always be optimal and within a healthy, safe range.
ditch the extreme diets
Yes this includes the keto-diet and low-carb plans - they are not the way! Restrictive diets put your body into an adaptive state which is sub-optimal and hard to sustain. Restricting food groups will mean that you are omitting important nutrients from your every day intake. These plans are not the best way to lose weight and over time you are likely to regain what you have lost. They can be unhealthy and you will find it hard to achieve long term fitness and body shape goals.
In order to perform to your very best you need to make sure that everything is on point - inside and out. There is no point trying to engage in elite sports training if you don't have the right foundation to build on. You need to make sure you are getting the optimal balance of organic nutrients combined with the appropriate training protocols and when applied correctly and holistically this will enable you to perform at your maximum genetic potential.
